Here I Am...What's Up?

Well, I'm in college now, and it's October. It's been a while since I've even made a journal. Just want to let you know everyone that I am still around and things are going pretty well for the most part. College seems a lot more stable social-wise than High School (I guess since those who go there don't have time to make a$$clowns of themselves).

Well anyway, let me talk about some interesting things I've heard about these last few months.

Cheetahmen 2 Kickstarter Project:
Basically, this rather baffling idea of a project in which the original Cheetahmen 2 game for the NES (which was never formally released and is the sequel to Cheetahmen of the notorious Action 52 NES compliation) gets a bugfix and printed and released for the NES...and it's a Kickstarter donation-fueled project....and it will cost 60 bucks to get it and some printed comics and other novelty items when/if it's successful. Oh, and you know what's the problem, Cheetahmen 2 is one of the most notoriously broken and unplayable games known on the NES. It's apparently for collecters who can't bother themselves to use an emulator to play the game (and there is already a bugfix patch on the Interent) but need to pay good money to get a glorified novelty item, not even a decent game. It was endorsed by AVGN and (*shudders*) Pat the NES Punk....yeah, I will never understand purists like the toolbox that is the latter. What a joke this project is...

Speaking of Pat, has it really been a year since I got into it with that highhorse NES collecting prickhorse? Dang, time flies.

Moving on another topic of interest....

Romney doesn't know jack about airplane windows:
Mitt Romney, as of this journal writing, is the current Republican Presidential candidate going up against current President of the USA, Barack Obama. Personally, I am more of a Democrat than a Republican but ignoring potential political alignment drama fuel, how the %#$@ do you not know the reason people can't open airplane windows!?!?!

Do I need to explain the pressure difference between the inside of an airplane and outside will make it so such an opening with get people outside pushed out like air in a balloon? Do I need to explain the cold, thin air up in the sky will make it difficult to breathe and will potentially make popsicles out of those on board? And this guy wants to be President? Give me a break!

PETA attacks Pokemon:

Remember when PETA attacked Mario because of his Tanooki suit because it supposedly supported real-life tanuki skinning (or so they said)? Well, now they claimed that the Pokemon series promotes animal abuse on the same day of Pokemon Black & White 2 being released (I guess for maximum publicity). Also about as silly as the previous claim of tanuki skinning love. Not to mention, the trainer characters in the anime especially, that abused their Pokemon are pretty much frowned upon by other characters such as Ash Ketchum. Sooo....yeah, PETA is pretty much whoring for attention again, but now, it's 100X more obvious (and that's saying a lot).

OH, and they got yet another disturbing flash game to piss everyone off. It's "Pokemon: Black and Blue". A pun of brusing...very clever PETA, as I said before, f#%k you guys!   


Well, that's it for now, I guess now I will just think of some other things to talk about, like what to do for Halloween on DA...maybe review a Halloween-worthy video game or something like that. Food for thought....
